What insect could Trillanes have eaten?

I think Filipinos know this guy who instilled fear when he cursed the Arroyo government by bringing grenades and bombs in a hotel somewhere in Makati. If I rememeber it right it was in 2003.

Fast forward he was out of jail through a pardon. I know because I read the news or rather watched him and saw him on TV.  He was out of prison. Fast forward again he ran for Senator and he won.

Image from ABS-CBN

Forward again, he ran for Vice President but he lost.

Rewind a bit from this year 2021 he was an ardent critic of President Rodrigo Duterte. He is risking his future just to bring down the man he hated: President Duterte.

Now in the recent months, weeks, days he declared a statement to the media that there is a possibility that he would run for President in 2022.

All these just because of his hatred toward a man who did not accept his offer to make the former as his running mate (President) when he decided to run for Vice President before the filing of candidacy in 2016 Elections.

What could he have eaten these current times. Does he know that the majority of Filipinos hate him? Or let us say do not like him. Does he know that he is only known as an infamous person. Does he know that people only knew him through his sensationalized or fake bravery in the Oakwood Mutiny in 2003?

It's only at those time he became known to the public, for the delusional, self-proclaimed heroism he brought it upon himself, and then make that kind of doing be used as his forefront to fill his ambition to become a politician. People know it. I can tell because almost all of my neighbors and strangers I meet in the streets, relatives, friends all hate him. Just because I'm from Davao doesn't mean this is bias. Look at the social media issues today, Just look at the comments section. Even his own post in his own Facebook account are mired with not only bashes but aversion of his character or even him as a buman being. His despicable nature had already been overly publicized. Does he know it?

So now, what in the world Trillanes could have eaten these recent months? Why he cannot accept the fact that he couldnt and wouldn't win against a strong and very popular Dutertes? I wonder why. Is he incredibly incorrigible, delusional man? Is he insane?

What insect could he have eaten? Did he eat the poop of a cockroach or a mouse?

Oh wait have you seen this man eat a food on TV or in person? I haven't. I wonder why.

What do you think?

Trillanes the Real Villain

Patriotism is the last refuge of the scoundrels, as a wise man once said. Reminds me of this quote when I totally understood the clash between Senator, the former, Juan Ponce Enrile, and Senator, the former too, Antonio Trillanes IV in a Senate hearing some years ago. In truth it was the confrontation that interest us. A simple argument turned out to be personal. The quarrel what made us amused and not the content of what was revealed.
The backdoor talk with the Chinese was the highlight. Trillanes didn't want that. The Enrile 'favoritism' issue in the Senate should have been the agenda. But no. Trillanes failed. Enrile is too wise a man and too old a man you can outsmart. It's too difficult to win with this man. How can you argue with this man? 94 Years Old with a brain still sharp. Imagine the experience he had undergone. The history he witnessed that you can only read in books. This heated exchange revealed some dark secret of Trillanes. Trillanes was caught in his own actions. Like frying in its own oil. Trillanes blew himself up. Had it not been for his privilege speech he would have been saved from that embarassment. He threw himself off a high cliff. This is where I discovered his capacity to commit evil. It's only now I realized the more evil in him. It's only now I understood the whole story, what he really did on that backdoor talk with Chinese officials. It is only now that I learned all these because I watched and listened carefully the video up to the end. Well, there is always the other side of the story. Maybe. Maybe what Enrile told us was the only story we could digest. Maybe the other side of the story could have been worse. That's politics anyway. A man doesn't choose evil because it is evil. He only mistaken it for the good he seeks. We can always settle at that.

Duterte VS Carpio

(By Ex Senator Juan Ponce Enrile) A few days ago, I saw on TV a mini verbal tussle between President Rodrigo Duterte and retired Supreme Court Justice Antonio Carpio. Their topic was the opposing claims of the Philippines and of China over certain islands, islets, reefs, atolls and sandbars in what we call the West Philippine Sea. Evidently, the clash between them involves two different approaches to a foreign policy concern of the country. Justice Carpio wants the President to take a harder, more assertive, and more aggressive stance against China. The position of Justice Carpio is the best approach, if we have the wherewithal to back it up. But, to me, it is not feasible at the moment under our current national circumstance. All we have right now are our patriotism, our courage, our sovereignty, our rights under generally accepted international law and under UNCLOS, and under our arbitral decision and victory. No doubt our arbitral decision was a great feat and a proud feather on our national cap.
But realistically, we are not Japan, nor a Taiwan, nor a South Korea - not even a Malaysia or a Vietnam - in terms of armed capability. Our economy is not that big and strong enough to enable us to make a credible challenge against a country like China. Our fishermen and our naval and air capability are no match to the swarm of Chinese fishermen, to the swarm of Chinese Marine Militia, and to the swarm of Chinese Coast Guards operating in the contested area. We have too much to lose, if we make a wrong move. If we make a harder, more assertive, and more, aggressive stance, we might imperil our people, our core territory, and our economy. We might even dishonor ourselves in the eyes of the world, if we cannot back up our rhetoric with or military strength. There is no world government with an international police organization to protect us. We have to protect our national interest ourselves. The UN cannot help us against China. It has no capability to enforce its decisions, and its members have their own individual interest to protect. Besides, there is the veto power of the five permanent members of the UN Security Council, which include China. Neither can we depend on the United States to protect us against China. It has its own national interest to serve, besides its internal and external problems that limit her capability to help anyone. To me, it is better for us to bid our time, male our economy bigger and stronger, and strengthen and modernize our defense and military capability before we raise our fists..

President Duterte Shows Mockery Of His Own Joke in 2016

President Duterte on his latest speech, May 10, 2021, in Davao City, responded once and for all the 'jestski' boruhahas. He said that he really bought a jetski but it was not brand new. It was slightly used, second-hand. And that he thought of the size and number of tanks of the jetski that he was finding solution on how to get gasoline for those tanks. He said he tried going to the sea but then all he found was all water. There was no gasoline stations around. President Durterte obviously joked around here. He intentionally mocked the critics in response to his previous statement in the 2016 Elections campaign that he said, or rather promise, he would go to the Scarborough Shoals with a jestski and bring a Philippine flag around. He said it has a bravado, to meant that really was ready to die for his people; for his country.

Emergency Powers para kay DUTERTE, para malabanan ang COVID-19, Kinontra ni Hontiveros!

For Senator Risa Hontiveros there is no reason to give President Rodrigo Roa Duterte more power to address the rapid spread of coronavirus disease 2019 (covid-19).

"The proposed grant of additional powers to the executive branch is clearly unnecessary to address the most pressing needs of health workers, COVID-19 patients, and poor Filipinos alike in this critical period," boladas the senator.

According to the senator, there are existing laws to give the government an effective way to counter crises.

"Our existing laws already grant the government the powers and other necessary tools needed to mount an effective response against COVID-19," Hontiveros added.

Senadora Hontiveros also did not attend the special session, which discusses giving President Duterte the power to take immediate action on the covid-19 situation. According to the senator, he simply follows the protocol set by the Department of Health (DOH).

"I am strictly following the health protocol set by the DOH and am currently under self-quarantine set to end by March 25. As part of the Senate Minority, I have asked the Senate President to allow my participation thru teleconferencing," Hontiveros promised.

It was recalled yesterday that Malacañang had a proposal sent to the congress where the executive asked that President Duterte be given emergency powers to address the threat of infectious disease.

Some of the powers stated in the proposal include authorizing President Duterte to take over business establishments and public utilities to provide temporary accommodation for health workers.

Currently canceled by the administration of classes in schools, the government has also implemented an enhanced quarantine community throughout the island of Luzon. And recently the government has again subjected the whole Philippines to the "State of Calamity".

‘Masuwerte kayo Nagpatupad ang DU30 Govt ng Quarantine! Dito sa City ko sa Iran, Wala!’ – Filipina in Iran

In the midst of the massive “Enhanced Community Quarantine” currently being implemented in Luzon and other parts of the country as a precautionary measure of COVID-19, more and more people are reacting. Some agree and abide by the rules but some disagree.

A compatriot from Iran has voiced his opinion on this issue. She said to our fellow Filipinos, we should consider ourselves blessed because our government is responding to this crisis in the country.

Hanna Kahmeel's Facebook post on March 21 reads:

Here in Iran we have 19,644 cases of COVID-19 and 1,433 deaths. Our hometown has 3 death records from COVID-19 and yet our city is not locked down nor do we have a quarantine community. NOTHING. No checkpoints, no social distancing.

After a month of self isolation / quarantine, I went out yesterday (wearing gloves & mask) with Shoaib to buy groceries. To my surprise, there is still traffic, malls and restaurants still open and operating and people are not even practicing social distancing! Like wtf. We're almost on a 20k record and yet people seem like they don't even care nor alarmed with the outbreak.

So if you feel bad or pissed about the enhanced quarantine community in the Philippines, consider yourself lucky because at least you know that the government is doing something to slow down the spread of the virus. Be grateful and be thankful!

Just help the government by staying inside your home! Don't worry about food supplies because the government has a solution for that. Worry about getting the virus because there's nothing we can do about that (for now). THERE IS NO CURE.

Ignorance excuses no one!

PS: 1 month ago we only have 1 case of COVID-19. Today is Persian New Year and we cannot even celebrate nor visit our family or accept guest inside our house.

PPS: This photo was taken 3 weeks ago. I bring my son outside in a situation like this if it's not an emergency. But we have an appointment with his doctor because of his sprained ankle.

PINAKAUNANG PASYENTE NG COVID-19, LUMANTAD AT NAGSALITA SA PUBLIKO

The first Filipino reported to have covid-19 appeared on CNN Philippines. He recounted how he fought the disease. “I was COVID-19 patient no. 4. As patient no. 4, I was the first Filipino to be confirmed positive after a lull of more than a month following the three Chinese travelers from Wuhan, ”said Carlo Llanes Navarro.

According to Navarro, they traveled to Japan with his family before the covid-19 situation worsened in that country. Overseas, he and his family mentioned that they have taken preventive measures against the disease.

“In Tokyo, we thought we were making-up for the risk by always wearing our masks, vigorously washing and rubbing our hands with alcohol and Thieves essential oil, and wearing disposable latex gloves which we regularly changed and threw away throughout our five days there , ”Navarro promised.

Navarro suspects he got the virus inside the plane that flew him back to the Philippines. There was a passenger coughing wildly behind him.

After a week he was diagnosed with a fever. And here he says he decided to go to the hospital.

“Came down with the chills and a low grade fever of 37.7 degrees Celsius… That night of March 3, I decided to play it safe and that I be immediately tested. St. Luke's hospital did not see the need to test me. The hospital said my symptoms were mild, and Japan is not a Covid-19 hotspot, ”Navarro said.

Two days after being discharged at the hospital he lost his fever but was replaced by body aches and coughing. That same day he learned that he had been positive for the disease. But his roommates were negative.

“At this point, while in RITM, I prayed fervently to spare all of them. My mind was raising with scenarios that Evie and Gia [wife and daughter] survived in RITM. All their tests came back negative. Thank God! All I need now is to worry about myself, ”Navarro added.

He said he remained in the hospital for two weeks and was discharged.

According to Navarro, ignorance and lack of action is one of the quickest ways to spread the disease. He also insists on being honest if you are infected.

Lalaking Mayabang Nag Ala Pepeng Agimat: Di Ako Tinatablan ng Virus Na Yan, Kalaboso!

PDU30 May Patama Kay Mayor Vico, Nag-Warning sa mga LGUs!

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte warned the rebel local government units (LGUs) to comply with the national government's policy on enhanced community quarantine implemented throughout the island of Luzon.

“Let me add my own words. I'm really very sorry but I have to do it. Now I call [upon] LGUs. The national government needs your help during this time, but I want to tell you: Do not make this quarantine or quarantine more difficult for our people than it already is. LGUs should take note of this - that at this time let us make ourselves clear that we are not a separate from one republic or from each other… There is only one republic here, the Republic of the Philippines. And therefore, you must abide by the directives of the national government when it sets forth by the directives of the whole for the good of the country and the protocols observed during the time of the lockdown, ”said President Duterte.

President Duterte did not name Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto but noted that in some statements Sotto expressed frustration over preventing tricycles in his city from traveling.

Nandun yung doktor niya, nandun yung medical records nya,” Mayor Vico Sotto said.

“This is where I plead with the national government, so maybe you can consider the tricycle. It's no longer for tricycle drivers, it's for public health and safety. Because of me, in the risk assessment we did, if we didn't allow the tricycles, more people would die. Those who need surgery, those who have postoperative surgery, need hospitalization. Especially if you live in the World and live on PCGH. Her doctor is there, her medical records are there, ”Vico promised.

With her city giving out food packs, Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte couldn't help but notice the residents of the city who were upset about her.

“To those who hate me, you are under no obligation to accept any of my projects - housing, education, healthcare, social benefits. That means there will be more for those who truly have faith in me as their leader, ”said Mayor belmonte.

"Mas mabuti na lang daw na ipakita ang pagkamuhi sa kanya sa 2022 elections at huwag politikahin ang buhay ng mga tao.

“But please just show your hatred for me at the polls in 2022 because the people who want to be served and patiently wait for it don’t deserve for their lives and that of their families to be politicized,”

("It would be better to show his hatred for him in the 2022 elections and not politicize people's lives.

"But please just show your hatred for me at the polls in 2022 because the people who want to be served and patiently wait for it don't deserve for their lives and that of their families to be politicized.")

Yesterday, eco bags were released on social media called "Joy for the People". The eco bag contains soap, medicine, face masks and alcohol.

“Rolling Stores”, Ilulunsad ng Gobyerno at LGU!

We now feel the moment of crisis caused by the COVID-19 threat. Some of our countrymen are also lamenting the lack of adequate food supplies in their homes, as part of the prevention of the virus is currently implementing “enhanced community quarantine” throughout Central Luzon and other parts of the country. country.

As a result, most large establishments are temporarily closed, vehicles prohibited from traveling, and people are advised to stay only in their homes as much as possible, so it is not easy for some to find affordable housing. needs.

To solve this problem, the Pasay Local Government Unit (LGU) in cooperation with the Department of Trade and Industry will launch the Rolling Stores, according to Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano. The exact date when it will begin is uncertain.

Such vehicles may also be used temporarily to transport disabled and senior citizens to the hospital or clinic for their check-ups. This is while the whole of Central Luzon is under quarantine and some public transport is still suspended.

About 100,000 food packs are also expected to be distributed to the LGU at 201 Barangays in Pasay City next week, which will be delivered by Barangay officers to the families of their constituencies.
