Sen. Drilon Nahuling Natutulog sa Interview ni Pinky Webb sa CNN

On March 1, 2020, Saturday, Senator Franklin Drilon was caught live on camera in a live interview with CNN Philippines's Pinky Webb. If you try to check the video in Youtube, go to the time stamp 12:00, and there you can really tell that Drilon really have slept for probably 5 to 8 seconds.

TV networks immediately reported the scenario such as News 6 and GMA. ABS-CBN also reported after less than an hour the interview was over.

Thinking Pinoy also posted in his FB page, examining the video, that indeed the big man of the Senate really did sleep during the interview, even while Pinky Webb was asking him questions about the VFA issue and the Supreme Court.

Netizens then bashed the senator for being, as they call, a lazy public servant, always sleeping on work even during Senate sessions. Even a security guard or a prison guard is being fired once caught sleeping while on duty, how much more a Senator of a country.

DRILON, humingi ng tawad kay BCDA Pres. DIZON

Senator Franklin Drilon has asked an apology to Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) president Vivencio Dizon for wrongly claiming that the designer of the 50-Million cauldron for the SEA Games is his relative. He claimed this during an interview a few days ago in ANC that the designer of the cauldron is the son-on-law of Dizon.

Just a few hours ago as of writing, majority leader Senator Franklin Drilon made an apology during an interview by the media. He said:

"I would like to correct my statement in Headstart this morning about the relationship of the architect who built the SEA Games cauldron, the late Architect Bobby Mañosa, and BCDA Pres. Vince Dizon. They are not related. I was wrong in my information. I apologize to Dizon."

Senator Drilon has been a hot critic to the Duterte administration these past few days since he brought up the issue of BUild Build Build was a total dismal failure.

Netizens in social media thre away harsh words and even celling him names. Blogger made memes and satire images that depict Senator Drilon as the Sleeping SEnator and Boy Kaldero.

Gusto lang ni Duterte na Mabigo si Robredo - DRILON

In an interview by Karen Davila's in ABS-CBN, November 21, 2019, just a few moments ago, Drilon said that Duterte obviously doesn't want Robredo to succeed. By saying that the President doesn't trust the Vice President and her appointee of the VP is not a cabinet post, according to Drilon, it simply means that Duterte and the people behind the anti-illegal-drug committee want the Vice President to fail even in the manner that she will not.

Karen Davila also asked Senator Drilon if the Liberal Party has some plans in the 2022 Elections. Drilon answered he did not know yet because he is busy about the budget to be reenacted in the Senate for 2020.

At the end part of the interview, Drilon show some friendly gesture to Karen Davila. Drilon greeted her a happy birthday. Davila just cut it short and did not want to react on the greeting. Lastly, Davila asked Drilon about his last words on the upcoming SEA games, Drilon replied, "no more."

The 3% wanted to make a come back but still failed. drillon must be drowned to litseberal party projects of pre admins. We have a good day ahead.

Senator Drilon has been loyal to the Liberal party. He is also one of the ardent critic of President Rodrigo Duterte and his administration. Senator Franklin Drilon was one of the closest friend of the late former President Corazon Aquino.
