Eight-time world boxing champion Emmanuel 'Manny' Pacquiao has signed to Paradigm Sports Management, home to Ireland's Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) superstar Conor McGregor, this Wednesday (Philippine time).
“I am proud to partner with Paradigm Sports Management and am excited for the opportunities that Audie Attar and PSM have to offer,” said Pacquiao.
“One thing I want everyone to remember is to always think positively. Never think negatively; that is the beginning of your downfall. Everything is possible,” Pacqquiao added.
Because of this, there is a much greater chance that National Wrestling will face McGregor via boxing match since they are in the same championship.
On Twitter, McGregor (@TheNotoriousMMA) posted a greeting to Pacquiao's "Welcome to the Emmanuel team."
McGregor also told ESPN that negotiations are under way for Pacquiao.
“Me and Manny, there have been talks about the fight. There was an offer made on that… just not yet, ”revealed the Irish.
"It's very much so [a possibility] ... there were negotiations going on," he concluded.
