While a 41-year-old man who brags about being impervious to the Coronavirus and firmly believes that he won't get infected, his magical powers didn't work with the Barangay officials in Caloocan City, Thursday.
Apart from Ronaldo Rio, 18-year-old Mary Rose Raguindin was also arrested.
In the report, 3:00, Tuesday afternoon (March 17), when Rio approached a group of Barangay 68 Chief Barangay Romeo Giron talking about implementing an enhanced community quarantine on 12th Avenue.
According to Giron, Rio suddenly shouted at them, “kalokohan ‘yang ginagawa ninyo! Matanda na ako hindi na ako tinatablan niyang mga virus,
("Such a stupid that thing you do. I'm old enough. I won't get that kind of virus. I'm immuned.”)
Rio all of a sudden punched Giron but was pacified whn the Barangay guards came.
Giron formally complained to Rio for disobedience to person in authority and direct assault in addition to violating Republic Act 11322 in connection with the enforcement of the enhanced quarantine community.
