The Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Gen. Archie Gamboa, along with four passengers and two pilots were in a helicopter when it crashed in Laguna this morning.
This was confirmed by Lt. Col. Wilson Doromal, PNP-HPG in DZRH interview after plane crashed. He said the officer was in serious condition with others being rushed to the nearest hospital at the scene of the tragedy.
The helicopter that Gamboa was riding collapsed when it was hit by an electric line. He said the dust was so high in the area that it had zero visibility until it hooked up to the electrical cord because it didn't fly high enough before it finally collapsed.
The identity of the other aboard a fallen helicopter has not been identified.
