The Philippine national Police Officer in Charge now directs police officers nationwide to arrest people who smoke vape in public places following Duterte's order.
Duterte's order started last night in his speech, November 19, 2019 in Malacanang, after being asked by one reporter what was his thoughts about the use of vape in the country, as after health experts delivered statements that there were chemicals found in vape juice. Experts added that the use of vape is bad for the health, even worse than cigarettes.
Duterte said in his speech, he will ban and prohibit the use of vape in public places all over the country, just like cigarettes smoking are disallowed in public places. Duterte also added the he will stop the importing of vapes in the country.
Here are some harmful chemicals found in vape juice: Ultrafine particles, diacetyl,volatile organic compounds, heavy metals, such as nickel, tin, and lead.
